Hello Italy Travelers for June, 2012...
We are one year away from taking our trip. Over this summer, we'd like to help you develop some background about the places we are going to visit, so we've set up this on-line blogspot.
If you have never done "blogging," you'll like it. It's not difficult to learn.
You need to set up an account. So, go ahead and "check in" to the blogspot.
Then, every other TUESDAY throughout the summer, you'll see the blogspot updated.
Here are the dates: June 7 and June 21; July 5 and July 19; August 2 and August 16.
DIRECTIONS:
1) Go to the blogspot during each 2-week period. Read and view the material. Then, POST a comment and share your insights about what you are learning regarding our TRIP.
2) Be sure you POST some comments and join in the on-line conversation. Respond to what others have said. FOCUS: This is an educational blog.
3) E-mail Mrs. Moeller if you need help getting started when you try to make your first POST on the blogspot.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
4) We are doing on-line learning because we want you to start adding to your knowledge about the places we will visit. What a great time -- summer -- to start learning about DELIGHTFUL ITALY!
WEEK OF MAY 23-26:
a) Send Mrs. Moeller an e-mail using THE E-MAIL ACCOUNT WHICH YOU WILL ACTIVELY and REGULARLY CHECK THIS SUMMER. Mrs. Moeller and Mrs. Esser will use this e-mail if we need to reach you with trip information. SEND THE e-mail on Monday, May 23, or Tuesday, May 24. [ ann.moeller@nuacs.com ]
b) POST a comment ON THIS BLOG which says: Hi Mrs. Moeller, I've set up my blogspot account, and I am ready to begin the summer blogging and learning. I'll check back on June 7 to see what you have given us to read/view/do. POST YOUR FIRST BLOG - this one - NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, MAY 25, at 9:00 P.M.
